No ads network better than adsense if you want to monetize your blog. In fact, it is 90% better than any other CPC advertising available on the net. They offer highest CTR for publisher in every webpage hence decent revenue can be obtained daily. A lot of new bloggers as well as web administrators have this huge dream to join adsense. However, applying this particular ad network is not easy for some people, otherwise it make majority of amateur bloggers get frustrated by google’s strict rules. But, in this post I will share how easy it is to be approved by the adsense team.
First thing to do is to set your mindset and tell yourself that getting approval of Google AdSense is easy even with a new blog. This is true only if you follow some of their basic rules when you start building your blog. To be honest, in my personal mind, it is almost impossible to be approved by google AdSense in a fast way. But, following this rules, nothing is impossible!
First Thing First: Preparing Your Blog for AdSense
There few requirements a blog must have to be approved by AdSense moderators. They have some basic criterion for a blog to be accepted. Make sure that your blog fill this announced requirements by AdSense team while in the other hand, there are still some tricks that could overcome some regulations. For Instance, base on their official pages, publisher from countries like China and India need to own the website minimum for 6 months before they can join AdSense, but factually, there are so many Indian and Chinese blogger get approved with less than 6 month website. The only thing that must be considered much is the content’s quality. Follow these checklist to get your website ready for AdSense:
Write Only High Quality Content
An old SEO saying tells that “content is the king” and unfortunately, it was true! If you want to build a high quality blog, then great contents are all you need. A great content must be unique and clear concerted content. A copy paste content is not working anymore how much those blackhat players try to convince you. If your website only consists of short-copy paste articles, than you choose your blog to be ended soon. Keep in mind that Google AdSense will not accept blogs with copy paste articles. Best articles are above 500-600 words and also must be unique.
Make Your Site Search Engine Friendly With Meta Tags
Give Google bots the appropriate information about your blogs since it is almost impossible for human AdSense editorial board to check all of the applicants websites one by one. This can be done by giving a brief description about your blogs in meta tittle and meta descriptions hence the googlebots will read and understand basic information about your pages.
Meta description will be around 69 characters while meta description is about 156 characters. Make sure you fill it with correct information regarding your websites.
Your Blog Must Contains Enough Posts
I recommend that you must have somewhere around 15 to 30 posts in your single blog before you send it to google approval team. This contents must be spread to all of your categories and tags equally. This is based on what google said that your page must have sufficient content in every single web page, which means that they won’t accept bogs with blank page in it. Next, your articles are better to have 500-600 words length as the longer the article is, the higher change to get accepted by Google AdSense.
Pay Attention to Domain Age
In some countries, Google only accept blogs with domain age older than 6 months. As we got this information from Google insider themselves:
In some locations, including China and India, we require publishers to have owned their sites for 6 months. We’ve taken this step to ensure the quality of our advertising network and protect the interests of our advertisers and existing publishers.
This rule is not applicable to all applicants, some of them get approved with less than 6 months domain age, but this number is generally an average domain age needed.
Only Use Root Domain To Apply
Your registered domain shows to google how professional you are. If you use a subdomain to register, it has less of ‘professional value’ than root domain. So, always use root domain such as myeasyblog.com instead of thisis.myeasyblog.com
Carefully Pick Content Images
Copyright issues are important to Google AdSense so they won’t accept a web which have trouble with copyrighting, such as copying images from online source without permission. The truth is that there are a big number of publisher denied by AdSense only because of they are in aware about images. They often take images from image directory and simply upload it to their site which is very prohibited by Google. Otherwise, it will be safer if you insert only free copyrighted images to your sites.
Develop a Good and Nice Blog Structure Design
Good looking website will attract more visitors and if they love your site, so do the adsense approval team. Good looking means not only that it must have premium and professional design, it also should guide visitors accurately through header, content area, sidebar, footer, etc. Lucky for us that even the free themes available out there, most of them have these criteria.
Don’t Use a Blocked by AdSense Domain Name
Type this on google to check if your domain is blocked by Google or not : site:yourdomain.com. If you can see search result appearing, then your site is not blocked while no result means google blocked it.
Only Create Contents That Allowed by AdSense
Avoid adult contents, copyrighted contents, drug alcohol-related contents, hacking cracking contents, violent contents, weapons related contents and other illegal contents or your sites will not be approved.
Don’t Worry About Visitors
A lot of people suggesting that you must have a decent visitors before applying adsense. Well, you know what? That’s a myth. AdSense approval are mainly due to your blog quality, not the visitors. However, to get revenue from your blog, you definitely need as much visitors as possible.
Final Step: Applying Your Sites
After you are sure enough that your site is following above rules, then you are ready to applying your site to Google AdSense. Let me know if you have some questions and share this article if you think it helped you.
